| Quipus
de Bolivia was created in 2001 and has an objective
to spread the bolivian culture through dance. Quipus de Bolivia’s
shows represent the Andean community’s scenes of rituals and
celebrations. With its sparkling, gay young dancers, and with its
shimmering colourful costumes, Quipus
de Bolivia and Machaqa carry the audience into a journey
in the heart of Bolivia. The band is formed of dancers from celebrate groups and recognized in Bolivia as Los Wistus, Fraternidad caporales centralistas and Morenada central. Quipus de Bolivia performed shows in Paris, such as at the French Alliance teather, as in different towns in France, and took part in festivals as the Mundo Latino Festival and the Festival Musiques des Andes de Sainte Agnès. Among the presented dances, you will appreciate the Cueca, the Saya, The Caporal and The Tinku. |
